Woke up to a glorious day in Amsterdam. Got the train to Central with Faith around 11. I worked from Starbucks for a few hours while she shopped at IJHallen - decided to dig into ChatGPT plugins and attempt to build the first ChatGPT-first game. After a few hours Faith came back, we left our stuff in a locker at Central station and walked to Oudezijds Voorburgwal to catch a 4pm boat trip - wasn't as good as some of the other ones we've done as it was mainly families. Afterwards we walked to Men Impossible for Ramen - we got there a bit early so we stopped at a bar on the corner for a Moscow Mule.
At Men Impossible we met a super nice American couple who were on their honeymoon - they lived in San Diego - the husband was an importer of Christmas lights from China - he said it used to be all direct to consumer but now he sells to the fitters because people tend to hire fitters instead of doing their own. He'd been doing it for 20 years and seemed quite wealthy from it - chatted about staying in the Four Seasons in Dubai and flying business class. After that we got an Uber back to Central and were on a train to Diemen within a few minutes.
In the evening I continued working on Letterbox for ChatGPT.
Went to Sam Smith in Ziggo Dome. Turned out really well. Got aisle seats, arrived about 5 minutes before he started. Was probably 20 mins from sitting on the couch watching videos to being in our seats watching the gig. First act was really great - we knew basically all the songs.

Decided around 11 to get a train to Amsterdam Central as was struggling to work from home. Ended up really enjoying the few hours in Starbucks coding with the headphones on. Then Faith dropped in at 7 and we walked around Amsterdam & got dinner in a nice Ramen place
