Went to the network state conference with Colin - the event was on the whole incredible value for $100. My hunch is that Breakpoint (The solana conf) had some excess capacity and Balaji opportunistically jumped on. The overarching theme of The Network State still felt a bit loose, but there were quite a few standalone ideas in it that I resonated a lot with. There was massive variation in the quality of the talks - some unbelievably well thought out & rehearsed, some were stitched together outtakes of Balaji's zoom calls.

Notes

• Format of 15 minute back to back talks on a single stage was really good for ensuring people came away understanding the ideas, which I think was the purpose.

• Great talks: Codie Sanchez (bridging the gap & not leaving normies behind), Kathleen Tyson, Peter St Onge (the future of the dollar). Nas Daily's was well done although I disagreed with the conclusion.
